Go Beyond the Vendor’s Story – This is another step that is frequently not addressed well in PAS replacement projects. It is a confirmation of what the vendor has been telling you. Just ask yourself, “Is your primary source of information the vendor selling to you?” If so, you should dig deeper to validate the information you have.

Understand What to Expect – Any customer referrals given to you by the vendor may be suspect, since they will only hand out ones that are positive. If you need assistance, ITX can identify all clients for any vendor. We don’t try to tear down any vendor. We just point out that every carrier vendor relationship is unique in itself. All vendors have had failures and you can’t necessarily pin a failure on the vendor. However, there are reasons for each failure. You should investigate to understand what they are.
